Jen is a partner in Obermayer’s Family Law practice in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, focusing on divorce, support, and custody litigation in the courts. Jen regularly negotiates complex, financial-based matrimonial settlements as well as child custody and parenting-time agreements.
Clients seek Jen’s representation in all aspects and stages of matrimonial, custody, and support litigation. These include trials, emergent applications, plenary hearings, custody trials, domestic violence hearings, pre- and post-judgment applications, early settlement panels, economic mediations, settlement conferences, case management conferences, and uncontested hearings.
In her spare time, Jen enjoys spending time with her family and friends and, if time allows, reading and traveling.
Jen has practiced exclusively family law since the inception of her career. As part of her matrimonial litigation practice, Jen regularly engages with a variety of professionals, including forensic accountants, employability experts, real estate appraisers, and custody evaluators. In addition, Jen assists clients with the valuation and distribution of businesses, professional practices, executive benefits, and other assets, such as stock options and restricted stocks.
Prior to joining Obermayer, Jen was an attorney at a South Jersey law firm, where she concentrated her practice on family law matters, including divorce, child custody and visitation, child support, domestic violence, and divorce and family law mediation.
After graduating from law school, Jen served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable John L. Call, Jr. in the New Jersey Superior Court, Burlington Vicinage.
Jen serves as a Matrimonial Early Settlement Panelist (MESP) in Burlington County and also volunteers with South Jersey Legal Services. She also is active in her children’s Parent Teacher Organizations as well as her synagogue, Adath Emanu-El in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.
Jen is a co-chair of the Family Law Section of the Burlington County Bar Association. She is also a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and Camden County Bar Association as well as a Barrister Member of the Thomas S. Forkin Family Law Inn of Court.
