Mary focuses her practice on matrimonial law, representing clients in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, custody, parenting time, child and spousal support, prenuptial agreements, domestic abuse, and cohabitation disputes.
Mary provides clear advice, practical solutions, and strong advocacy when needed. She believes clients deserve a lawyer who listens, communicates honestly, and is genuinely invested in helping them achieve the best possible outcome.
Outside the office, Mary enjoys dining with friends and exploring new restaurants. She also enjoys playing pickup basketball and tennis and is an avid runner. She can often be found logging miles along the Schuylkill River Trail or exploring new hiking trails throughout the area.
Prior to joining Obermayer, Mary served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas, where she drafted judicial opinions and orders, facilitated negotiations, prepared agreed orders between parties, and prepared legal memoranda and briefs.
Mary also served with Philadelphia Legal Aid, representing clients in their custody and divorce matters the Philadelphia Family Court’s Family Help Center, assisting pro se litigants in preparing and filing child custody petitions and motions and providing legal information and procedural guidance to self-represented parties.
In law school, Mary was a member of the American Bar Association Law Student Division and the Moot Court Board. She graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. and Departmental Distinction in both Economics and Business Administration. She was also a captain of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Team and was named to the Dean’s List.
