“Divorce and custody hearings can feel stressful and intimidating for anyone. They often carry high stakes and can result in significant life changes. Using my experience and expertise, I do my best to make sure my clients are comfortable and trust me to look out for their best interests.”
Hayley is a Doylestown-based family law attorney, who handles all aspects of domestic relations matters, including divorce, custody and visitation, child support, property division, protection from abuse, as well as family law mediation.
Hayley originally went to law school to practice environmental law, but she realized that she wanted to be more involved with helping people with their everyday problems. Hayley strives to provide individualized support to her clients as they face some of the most challenging times in their lives. She focuses on clear communication in order to make sure her clients understand every stage of their case and guide them toward an outcome that they want. She believes that avoiding litigation and its associated costs by working with the other parties is usually the most effective way to meet many of her clients’ needs; however, when an amicable resolution is not feasible, Hayley is a persuasive advocate in the courtroom.
When not working, Hayley loves to read – primarily fantasy and adventure, historical and contemporary fiction. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their two cats. They like playing pickleball and going to Iron Pigs games together. Her ideal Friday night is at a brewery or a winery with her friends.
Hayley has managed a caseload of diverse issues, including family law, estate planning, civil litigation, and guardianship. She has litigation and courtroom experience, as well as experience in conducting legal research and writing; drafting pleadings, preliminary objections, discovery, motions, memoranda, and briefs to be submitted to the Court of Common Pleas and Superior Court.
Hayley was recognized as a Top Author for JD Supra’s 2024 Readers’ Choice Awards, emerging from over 500 authors who wrote on the subject of family law during 2023. She was selected for inclusion in the Pennsylvania’s Rising Stars list in 2024.
In 2021 and 2022, Hayley was honored with the Bucks Keystone Lawyer’s Certificate of Recognition for providing 50 or more hours of Pro Bono Legal Services.
While in law school, Hayley was a part of the Environmental Law Society and Women’s Law Society.
While pursuing her B.S., Hayley served as the President of the Women’s Club Lacrosse Team, Communications Liaison for the Club Sports Council, and Public Relations Chair of the US Green Building Council Club. She was also awarded “Best Internship Paper on Sustainability” in the Sustainability Studies Program, Sponsored by Springer Publishing.
