Catherine is an attorney in Obermayer’s Litigation Department, focusing on commercial litigation and appellate matters. She takes pride in her strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to achieving the right results for her clients.

Catherine approaches each matter with a thoughtful, multi-perspective mindset and a determination to see problems through to resolution. For her, the practice of law is not just a profession, but a driving force behind how she works and thinks.

Outside the office, Catherine enjoys exploring new restaurants in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood, tackling home projects, reading classic books, and watching reality TV. She often spends her downtime at home with her dog, Pumpkin, and her cat, Penny.

Before joining Obermayer, Catherine clerked for Honorable Kevin M. Dougherty on the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. In this role, she drafted allocatur reports recommending whether petitions for review should be granted or denied, conducted legal research and prepared vote recommendations for cases listed for oral argument, and drafted and cite-checked majority, concurring, and dissenting opinions circulated among the justices. She now draws on that experience to develop appellate-ready briefings.

Catherine earned her J.D., cum laude, from Temple University Beasley School of Law and her B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

While in law school, Catherine was named a Philadelphia Diversity Law Group (PDLG) Fellow, received the Duffy Public Interest Fellowship, and placed as Runner-Up in the I. Herman Stern Moot Court Competition. She also served as Class Speaker for the Day Division, competed on the Moot Court Competition Team as a Regional Semi-Finalist, and worked as a Civil Procedure Teaching Assistant.
