Ashley Attinello

Ashley is an attorney in Obermayer’s Labor and Employment Department, where she represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. Her practice includes employment litigation, employment-related agreements, wage and hour matters, executive compensation, employee benefits, internal investigations, and labor arbitration.

Ashley’s experience in employment, casualty, and workers’ compensation litigation enables her to address a broad range of legal issues and help clients make informed business decisions. She prioritizes clear communication and thoughtful listening to understand each client’s unique questions and concerns, allowing her to provide advice that is both informative and concise. Her proactive approach helps her position clients for favorable outcomes while keeping their broader business objectives in mind.

In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her two dogs, practicing yoga, reading with her book club, and attending concerts.

Ashley has experience managing a diverse range of civil litigation matters, including claims arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act, the New Jersey Wage and Hour Law, the Labor Management Relations Act, the Conscientious Employee Protection Act, and the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination. Ashley also has extensive experience in written and oral advocacy in state and federal courts, including drafting dispositive motions, briefs, and other substantive pleadings, as well as presenting arguments on behalf of clients at hearings and oral arguments.

Ashley graduated from law school cum laude and received the Pro Bono Publico Award and the Herman J. Finn Award in Professional Responsibility. During law school, she served as Articles Editor of the Rutgers University Law Review and Treasurer of the Wellness Society.

Ashley is committed to giving back to her community and has volunteered with South Jersey Legal Services, where she assisted with guardianship matters, and as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA).
