Obermayer Attorney Gary Samms Obtains Defense Verdict

On Friday, November 16, 2018 at 9:15 p.m., after an extremely contentious trial in Chester County, the jury returned a complete defense verdict for a pulmonologist and a primary care physician involved in the alleged failure to timely diagnose cardiac sarcoid. Gary Samms, with the tremendous help of his team, obtained a defense verdict after a two-week trial which included the testimony of five experts. Plaintiff claimed damages for lifetime care due to significant heart damage, including the potential need for heart/lung transplant as a result of the doctors’ alleged delay in diagnosis.
