Gary Samms to Present at PADC’s CLE “Mediating a Medical Malpractice Case: Some Ethics Considerations”

Join Gary Samms, chair the Obermayer’s Professional Liability Practice Group and the Catastrophic Loss Group, on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, as he co-presents at The Philadelphia Association Of Defense Counsel’s CLE, titled “Mediating a Medical Malpractice Case: Some Ethics Considerations.” The panel will discuss mediation through the lens of the Professional Code of Conduct, including exploration of mediating a medical malpractice case that raises ethical considerations including scope of representation and allocation of authority between client and lawyer, communication with client, confidentiality of information, conflict of interest and candor toward the tribunal.
