Matthew Green Elected to Obermayer’s Management Committee

Matthew Green has been elected to the firm’s Management Committee, which serves as Obermayer’s highest governing body and sets firmwide strategic direction.

Green’s election reflects both his outstanding legal practice and his longstanding commitment to the firm’s culture, growth, and leadership. He joined Obermayer as an associate in 2006, was elevated to equity partner in 2014, and has since assumed several key leadership roles across the firm.

Currently, Green serves as Deputy Chair of Obermayer’s Litigation Department and Co-Chair of the department’s Cybersecurity Group, where he helps guide the firm’s response to increasingly complex litigation. He has also played an instrumental role in the firm’s talent development as a former chair of the Recruitment Committee, helping shape Obermayer’s next generation of attorneys.

In his litigation practice, Green represents clients in high-stakes commercial matters, including contract, real estate, non-compete, and employment disputes, regularly appearing in state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Outside the firm, Green is Co-Chair of the Commercial Litigation Section of the Camden County Bar Association. ). He has been recognized as one of South Jersey Biz’s “20 Under 40” and was a finalist for the 2024 New Jersey Law Journal Legal Awards in the Best Law Firm Mentors category.
