Julie Colton Elected to Allegheny County Bar Association Board of Governors

Family Law Partner Julie Colton was elected to a three-year term on the Allegheny County Bar Association (ACBA) Board of Governors. Her term will run from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2029. This marks Colton’s return to the ACBA Board of Governors, having previously served from 2011 to 2014. The Board of Governors serves as the governing body of the ACBA, providing leadership and strategic direction of the Association. 

Julie focuses her practice on family law matters, including divorce, child custody, support, asset division, prenuptial agreements, and international custody disputes. She is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and serves as Immediate Past Chair of the ACBA Family Law Section. She also serves as Treasurer of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section and is a Fellow of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation.
