Hillary Moonay and Stephanie Winegrad Featured in Suburban Life

September 10, 2026

Obermayer partners Hillary J. Moonay and Stephanie H. Winegrad are featured in the September 2026 issue of Suburban Life in an article titled “Sharing Their Passion.” The feature highlights their family law practices, their longstanding professional relationship and close friendship, and their leadership within the legal community.

Both Hillary and Stephanie were recently named to the 2026 Pennsylvania Top Five Family Law Super Lawyers list, recognizing their decades of dedication to the field. A central focus of the feature is their shared commitment to guiding the next generation of legal talent. Hillary, who co-chairs Obermayer’s Family Law Group, recently received the 2026 Special Achievement Award from the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) for creating the Family Law Section’s Leadership Development Program. Designed to help young lawyers build their networks, confidence, and leadership skills, the program has also featured Stephanie as a co-chair since its inception.

“The program I created that led to the award is probably the thing I am most proud of professionally,” Hillary says. “My absolute favorite thing to do is to teach and mentor young attorneys, especially younger female attorneys. Leading up to my year as chair of the Family Law Section, I was thinking about how being involved in the bar association has been so beneficial to me, both professionally and personally. The leadership of the PBA has played such a big part in that. This program combines my passion for teaching and mentoring younger attorneys while also helping our section develop our next generation of leaders.”

Stephanie’s extensive volunteer work also includes serving as the Vice President of the Pennsylvania chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

“I really enjoy mentoring,” she says. “I like interacting with and helping young lawyers succeed, and it’s nice to give back to the community.”

Hillary and Stephanie credit professional growth and fostering their dedication to mentorship, noting that the firm’s support has allowed them to make a meaningful impact on both their clients and the broader legal community.
