Henry Noye Appointed Judge Pro Tempore by the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas

Henry Noye, a partner in Obermayer’s Catastrophic Loss Group, was recently appointed to serve as a Judge Pro Tempore by the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas in its Mandatory Settlement Program. In this role Henry will:

  • Coordinate with the attorneys to schedule the pre-trial conference for their matter pending in Pennsylvania’s First Judicial District.
  • Review submissions from all counsel regarding the disputed issues in the case including key facts that impact liability and alleged damages.
  • Conduct and preside over the settlement conference and engage all counsel separately and jointly to attempt to facilitate a settlement.
  • Provide a report to the Court as to the outcome of the conference and of his observations and recommendations, should the case not settle.

Henry focuses his practice on commercial litigation, product liability, catastrophic loss and liability, and professional liability. He represents commercial and industrial entities including product manufacturers, private services providers, financial service providers, healthcare delivery systems, individuals and private clients, as well as real estate owners, managers, developers, and investors.
