David Nasatir Elected Chair of Pennsylvania Convention Center Authority (PCCA)
Obermayer Chair David A. Nasatir has been elected Chair of the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Convention Center Authority (PCCA). David has served on the PCCA Board of Directors since 2016 and currently chairs the Board’s Legal Affairs Committee.
“As someone who has spent the majority of my career working on economic redevelopment, often representing private developers and sometimes serving on public boards, I am thrilled to take on the unique challenge of leading the Authority and the Convention Center out of this pandemic,” said Nasatir. “The road to recovery will not be easy, but restoring convention business is critical to our region’s hospitality industry, and something I am confident our Board will accomplish.”
The Pennsylvania Convention Center is located in Center City Philadelphia at the heart of the city’s many cultural offerings and world-class dining and entertainment scene. The Center is the 14th largest facility in the nation and features one of the largest exhibit spaces and ballrooms in the Northeastern U.S. The Pennsylvania Convention Center Authority is charged by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as the steward of the public good; assuring the successful operation of the world-class Pennsylvania Convention Center, and to drive economic prosperity for the greater Philadelphia region as a world-class convention center.
