David A. Nasatir Reelected Chair of Obermayer
Obermayer is pleased to announce that its Management Committee has reelected David A. Nasatir as Chair of the firm for a second four-year term, effective February 4, 2026
Nasatir, who began his career at Obermayer as a summer associate in 1994, was first elected Chair on January 27, 2022. Since assuming the role, he has led the firm through a period of strategic growth and market expansion. Prior to becoming Chair, Nasatir served as Vice-Chair beginning in 2018, where he played a pivotal role in shaping and executing the firm’s long-term strategic growth plan, with a particular emphasis on lateral recruiting in key markets.
Nasatir’s clients range from small family-owned businesses to some of the largest financial institutions in the United States. He advises governmental and private-sector clients on public finance matters, negotiates the sale of municipal utilities to public and private utility companies, and counsels clients on zoning, corporate, and real estate matters. He also has extensive experience handling complex financing workouts and structuring both equity and debt provisions of multi-million-dollar real estate developments.
His emphasis on preserving and encouraging a culture of collegiality, collaboration, and promoting a work-life balance, all while being intimately involved in some of the largest projects throughout the region, has made Obermayer a unique place to work.
Under Nasatir’s continued leadership, Obermayer remains committed to preserving that culture as it seeks strategic growth, maintains exceptional client service and retains its commitment to excellence.
