September 21, 2026

Family law partner Adam Tanker was recently elected President of the Hatboro-Horsham Educational Foundation, having previously served as the Foundation’s Secretary.

“Working with the amazing people who help make the foundation so successful is one of the most rewarding ways I have given back to my community,” said Adam.

Founded in 1987, the Foundation is Pennsylvania’s oldest nonprofit educational foundation. It works to encourage excellence and expand educational opportunities for students in the Hatboro-Horsham School District through innovative grants and learning experiences, operating as a volunteer organization in partnership with the school board, administration, faculty, staff, and students.

Its primary vehicle is teacher grants: the Foundation has awarded more than 300 Innovative Learning Grants totaling over $1 million to Hatboro-Horsham teachers. These grants have funded initiatives ranging from arts and culture programming, robotics, and music to environmental education, driver’s education, virtual reality, and STEM programs across K-12. By championing educational innovation, the Foundation boosts student engagement, supports academic growth, and strengthens the bond between schools and the community.
