Tom Wyatt Discusses Clinton Township Decision on Incomplete Data Center Application

Tom Wyatt, Chair of Obermayer’s Municipal Infrastructure and Services Practice Group, was quoted in a June 3, 2026, WNEP article about ongoing opposition to a proposed 700-acre data center campus in Clinton Township, Wayne County. The Clinton Township Planning Commission unanimously determined that the developer’s application for the 20-plus-building project was incomplete after residents raised concerns about deficiencies in the submission.

“I would strongly recommend that the commission reject this with specific findings as to the deficiencies so that the development team can move forward,” Tom said while representing a resident at the meeting.
