Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP, a Philadelphia-based center city law firm, has an immediate opening in its Philadelphia office for a full time employment litigation associate.
The firm’s Labor Relations & Employment Law Group predominantly represents management in all types of employment and traditional labor related legal matters. Clients include small businesses, Fortune 500 companies, retailers, restaurants, municipalities, and many more. Services range from defense of pending claims before state and federal court and administrative agencies, including the EEOC and NLRB, to helping clients avoid litigation through the use of policy writing and revisions, trainings, and advice and counseling.
The ideal candidate should have 3-6 years’ experience in employment litigation. Experience with employment law advice & counseling and/or labor disputes is a plus. The candidate must be ready to handle a challenging case load with minimal supervision. Interested candidates should have significant Pennsylvania and New Jersey state court practice, as well as experience before the federal courts, the EEOC, the NLRB and state human rights commissions.
