Obermayer Sponsors Recent Bucks County Bar Foundation St. Patrick’s Day Event

On Thursday, March 10, 2022, Bucks County Bar Foundation (BCBF) held its St. Patrick’s Day Event at the Shamrock Reins in Pipersville, PA. Obermayer and family law partner, Hillary Moonay, who also serves on the Board of Trustees of the BCBF, had the honor of sponsoring the fundraiser that supported:

  • Thomas E. Mellon, Jr. Scholarship – intended to honor one of the BCBA’s most ardent supporters, Thomas E. Mellon, Jr., who was committed and dedicated to the practice of law and the ideals of public and community service. This Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to any candidate attending a four-year liberal arts education program who has shown extraordinary commitment to public service and/or community service. 
  • William Penn Scholarship – provides financial assistance for the post-high school education of students interested in pursuing a career in law or a law-related field, who has shown extraordinary commitment to public service or community service.
  • The Bucks County Veterans Treatment Program – established by the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office to more effectively address the needs of veterans cycling through the county court, probation and parole, and prison system.

BCBF is the charitable arm of the Bucks County Bar Association. Its mission, consistent with its charter and as a 501(c)(3) charitable entity, is to promote and support programs, organizations, and individuals throughout Bucks County who are engaged in activities designed to foster respect for the rule of law, the advancement of rights, liberties, and protections under the law as well as activities which have as a principal purpose the advancement of social justice for the individuals, families, and communities of Bucks County.
