Obermayer Partners Speak at Family Law Institute

Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP partners David Ladov and Stephanie Winegrad presented at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s Family Law Institute. Ladov presented “Family Law Update/Case Law Update,” where he provided practical pointers on how recent decisions impact daily family law practice. Winegrad moderated three panels on the “Beginner’s Track” on Support, Custody and Divorce. She provided insights and practical tips for other attorneys assisting their clients, and helping them to understand what to avoid.

As chair of the firm’s family law department, Ladov handles both routine and complex cases, representing clients in a wide range of matters involving the most personal and sensitive legal issues that affect every aspect of families in transition. He is a past president of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Pennsylvania Chapter, and a member of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association. He is also a past chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section. Ladov is immediate past chair of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Domestic Relations Procedural Rules Committee, and the editor of Slicing Up the Pie, a PBI Press Publication on property division in Pennsylvania, and editor of the Pennsylvania Family Lawyer.

Winegrad focuses her practice on family law, handling matters including, divorce, custody and support. She is a frequent lecturer on family law topics for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and Pennsylvania and Montgomery Bar Associations, and is former Chair of the Montgomery Bar Family Law Section. She is also a Fellow at the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
