Michael E. Bertin Elected Vice President Of Pennsylvania Chapter Of American Academy Of Matrimonial Lawyers

Obermayer Partner, and Co-Chair of its Family Law Department, Michael E. Bertin was elected Vice President of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML).

Michael is a former Chair of the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and a former Chair of the Family Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association. He is a frequent author and lecturer on family law topics. Bertin was selected as the 2021 Lawyer of the Year for Family Law in Pennsylvania by the Best Lawyers in America. Bertin also co-wrote the book on Pennsylvania child custody law, Pennsylvania Child Custody Law, Practice, and Procedure. Bertin has an active state-wide family law practice where he handles all phases of the negotiation and litigation of domestic relations cases, including divorce, custody, support, alimony, property distribution, prenuptial agreements, and related issues.
