Michael Bertin Featured Among Former PBA Family Law Chairs at Montgomery Bar Event

Obermayer Partner and Family Law Department Co-Chair Michael E. Bertin was honored at the Montgomery Bar Association Family Law Section’s monthly meeting on October 7, 2026. The Section celebrated Jerry Shoemaker, the immediate past Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) Family Law Section, continuing its tradition of recognizing Montgomery County attorneys who have led the statewide section. These attorneys are honored on a plaque displayed by the Bar Association, a distinction Bertin also received several years ago.

As part of the event, all attending past PBA Family Law Section Chairs from Montgomery County were invited to present during a special CLE program titled “Hot Tips From the Past Chairs.” Bertin joined his fellow past Chairs to share key legal insights during this special segment of the program.
