Melissa Osorio Dibble Reappointed to Leadership Roles in American Bar Association Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law

Melissa Osorio Dibble, Chair of Obermayer’s Trusts & Estates practice group, was recently reappointed to two leadership positions within the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law (RPTE) for the 2026–2027 bar year, effective September 1, 2026.

Melissa will continue to serve as Co-Chair of the Professional Responsibility Committee and as a member of the Leadership and Mentoring Committee. These appointments recognize her ongoing contributions to the Section and her commitment to advancing excellence in trusts and estates law.

Melissa is an accomplished fiduciary litigator representing individuals, financial institutions, universities, charities, fiduciaries, and beneficiaries in complex estate, trust, and guardianship disputes throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Her practice encompasses a wide range of probate, Orphans’ Court, and general equity matters, including will contests, breach of fiduciary duty claims, trust and estate accountings, trust modifications, contested estate administrations, guardianships, cy pres proceedings, pre-death litigation, and matters involving the Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds Act (UPMIFA) and the Slayer Statute. Melissa is recognized for her strategic advocacy and deep knowledge of fiduciary law, guiding clients through sophisticated and often high-stakes disputes.
