Ivo Becica Presents at ACC CLE Institute
Obermayer partner Ivo Becica will present a webinar, titled “Non-compete Clauses and Other Restrictive Covenants: How to Best Protect Your Business” on July 8, 2020. The panel is a part of Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) virtual CLE Institute. Non-competition, non-solicitation, and confidentiality and non-disclosure provisions are an important tool to protect your organization from unfair competition from departing employees and rival businesses. However, due to varying applicable laws and business needs, the language of these agreements needs to be carefully tailored to your situation to ensure enforceability. This presentation will focus on best practices and pitfalls when drafting these documents.
For more than 30 years and in over 85 countries, ACC has represented, guided, and supported the global in-house counsel community. ACC aims to be the premier global legal association serving the diversified needs of in-house counsel by:
- Anticipating and understanding the needs of the in-house bar
- Helping members deliver services to their corporate clients efficiently and promote the value of in-house services
- Influencing the practice of law as it affects the in-house bar
- Delivering a mix of relevant, timely services, including information, education, networking, and advocacy
