Attorney Ivo Becica Appointed to Camden County Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors

March 01, 2019

Attorney Ivo Becica was recently appointed to the Camden County Regional Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, assuming the position previously held by Obermayer partner Tassos Efstratiades. Tassos has served on the Board for the past ten years, including two years as Chairman. Prior to that time, he was counsel to the Chamber for several years. However, don’t expect hard feelings in Obermayer’s New Jersey office; when Tassos made the decision to step down, he recommended Ivo for the role.

“Ivo is a great employment lawyer,” Tassos asserted. “He is active in the South Jersey area, where he has his roots, and will bring a new generation perspective to the Board of the CCRCC.”

Ivo will be assisting in the continued growth of this local chapter, which already hosts regular networking events, luncheons, and conferences. He will be involved in the coordination and logistics aspects of these events, in addition to carrying out outreach and networking opportunities through the Chamber. Ivo’s extensive experience working with small businesses, in addition to his knowledge of the laws that impact them, will serve as valuable assets to the Board.

Ivo is excited to carry on Obermayer’s involvement in the Chamber Board of the Directors, especially in his hometown of Cherry Hill. “I look forward to assisting in any way I can,” he said.

Ivo is an attorney in Obermayer’s Labor Relations & Employment Law Department. He focuses his practice on representing employers, including advising companies on how to handle employee issues, and defending employee claims when they are filed.
