Hillary Moonay Appointed to the PBA Leadership Resource Committee
Hillary J. Moonay, Partner at Obermayer and co-chair of the Family Law Group, was appointed to the newly formed Pennsylvania Bar Association’s (PBA) Leadership Resource Committee. The purpose of the Committee is to provide information, guidance, and educational programs for PBA members who seek leadership opportunities within the PBA.
Hillary is an experienced family law attorney, handling divorce, custody, support, alimony, equitable distribution, and prenuptial agreements. She holds extensive leadership roles within the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section, currently serving as Immediate Past Chair. Over the years, she has served as Chair, Chair-Elect, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and remains an active member of the Section’s Executive Committee and Rules Committee. Hillary is also Chair of the Bucks County Bar Association Family Law Section and serves on the Board of Managers and Board of Examiners for the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. In addition to her professional leadership, Hillary contributes regularly to legal publications and lectures widely on family law topics. A frequent author and lecturer, she has written for The Legal Intelligencer and contributed to the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s publication Slicing Up the Pie: Property Distribution in Pennsylvania.
