Diane Zabowski to Present at PBI’s Guardianship and POA Conference 2023

Join Obermayer’s Trusts and Estates partner Diane Zabowski on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, as she co-presents at PBI’s Guardianship and POA Conference 2023. This all-day webcast presents an overview on guardianships and powers-of-attorney on two virtual tracts. 

Diane’s topic, titled “Ethics – When is Enough Really Enough,”  will discuss Powers of Attorney (POA) and more specifically the ethics behind determining capacity.

Diane is an experienced orphans’ court litigator who has litigated more than 300 cases and served clients in Montgomery, Chester, Berks, and Bucks Counties. She has served as a court-appointed counsel in incapacity and termination of parental rights cases in Montgomery County and as a court-appointed counsel in incapacity cases in Chester County. Diane was appointed as a Substitute Mental Health Review Officer under the Mental Health Procedures Act in 2018. She has also testified as an expert witness in federal and state courts. She is a regular lecturer at bar associations, community programs, and paralegal programs.
