Jeffrey S. Batoff has extensive experience in civil litigation, renewable energy, intellectual property, real estate, corporate and health care matters. He also handles commercial, personal injury and products liability defense matters in addition to a subspecialty in catastrophic losses. Mr. Batoff is also a registered lobbyist. He has conducted seminars on Pennsylvania’s Lobbying Disclosure Law.
Mr. Batoff is the author of How to Take Law Exams, which was released by WestLaw, Thomas Reuters publishing company. This is the third edition of the book for law school students. He previously was an adjunct professor for Drexel University, Philadelphia (1986-91). He is author of the Law School Exam Handbook, published in 1985. He served for nearly 20 years on the City Planning Commission, serving as Vice Chairman, and ultimately as Chairman.
Mr. Batoff co-authored “Pennsylvania Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act: Contractors Beware!” (biz570.com; North East Pennsylvania Business Journal, January 8, 2010).
Mr. Batoff was selected for inclusion in 2010 and 2009 as one of the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® as noted in Philadelphia magazine (June editions) and the Law and Politics Magazine, Pennsylvania Super Lawyers. Super Lawyers are chosen based on peer review and independent research by Thomson Reuters, Legal, and recognizes the top 5% of all Pennsylvania attorneys.
