Two Obermayer Partners Included in The Philadelphia Business Journal’s “Top Lawyers on the Move 2019” List
In 2019, The Philadelphia Business Journal tracked the lateral move of 80 law firm partners. Among two of the bigger names to switch firms were Kellie McGowan and Tom Wyatt. They were included in the publication’s list of the Philadelphia-area lawyers who made the biggest moves in 2019.
Kellie McGowan joined us as a partner in the Business & Finance Department in our Doylestown office in July 2019, heading the suburban real estate team. Her practice focuses on real estate transactions, financing, and zoning and land use matters. Kellie represents businesses, financial institutions, and individuals in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in financing transactions, as well as residential, commercial, and industrial real estate matters, including sales, acquisitions, and leasing. Tom Wyatt joined us as a partner in the Business & Finance Department in our Philadelphia office in July 2019, chairing the newly added municipal services practice area, established to provide guidance to Pennsylvania municipal entities in effectively addressing their infrastructure related matters, such as regulatory compliance, bulk sale and services contract negotiations and water and wastewater system purchases and sales.
