Pauline Markey to Represent Bar Foundation in Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia’s Equity Cohort

Partner Pauline Markey, who is the Chair of Obermayer’s Diversity Committee, was selected to represent the Bar Foundation in Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia’s inaugural Equity Cohort. The Equity Cohort is a new 12-month immersive program designed to utilize constructive support in a peer-based experience to identify areas for equitable growth within local organizations and foundation. Members will assess structural and systemic barriers to equity and discuss strategies for institutional change.

Board members will be representing 12 different organizations, which are:

  • Samuel S. Fels Fund
  • Impact100  Philadelphia
  • Independence Public Media Foundation

  • Philadelphia Bar Foundation
  • The Presser Foundation
  • The Scattergood Foundation
  • Women’s Way

Pauline is a partner in Obermayer’s Business & Finance Department, where she focuses her practice on tax law. Her practice includes tax planning for mid-size LLC and partnerships, public financing, mergers and acquisitions, executive compensation, and tax controversy.
