Obermayer Partner Speaks About Family Law to Upper Dublin High School Students

Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP partner Stephanie Winegrad spoke, along with family law practitioner Mary Doherty, Esq., about family law to the Child Development II class at Upper Dublin High School. This year Winegrad and Doherty included speakers, the Hon. Risa Vetri Ferman and Mary Pugh, Esq., Executive Director of the Montgomery County Child Advocacy Project. The program, “Partners for Students,” consisted of videos, role-playing exercises, homework assignments and an interactive lecture on the topics of family law, communication skills and marriage. This is Winegrad’s seventh year teaching “Partners for Students” at the high school.

Winegrad focuses her practice on family law, handling matters including, divorce, custody and support. She is a frequent lecturer on family law topics for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and Pennsylvania and Montgomery Bar Associations, and serves as chair of the Montgomery Bar Family Law Section. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
