Ed is an attorney in Obermayer’s Family Law Department. He focuses his practice exclusively on matrimonial law, handling cases involving divorce, custody, parenting time, child and spousal support, prenuptial agreements, cohabitation disputes, and protection from abuse matters. He builds trust with clients through honest communication and prioritizes a “children first” philosophy, always advocating for the best interests of children in every case when applicable.
Outside of his legal practice, Ed stays active as a dedicated soccer and tennis player, competing in both sports at a competitive level.
Ed has extensive experience representing clients in a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and protection from abuse cases, advocating for favorable outcomes through both negotiation and litigation.
In addition to his legal practice, Ed serves as an Adjunct Professor at Alvernia University, where he teaches business and legal courses.
During law school, Ed was an Associate Editor for the Widener Law Review and served on the Diversity Leadership Inclusion Council. He was also a Section Representative for BarBri and Vice President of Student and Alumni Affairs for the Student Bar Association. Ed received the James C. Crumlish Award for Excellence in Public Service Leadership and was actively involved in the First Generation Law Students Association, Youth Court, and Alternative Dispute Resolution at Widener University Delaware Law School.
While earning his bachelor’s degree in finance at Alvernia University, Ed was a Student Representative on the Board of Trustees and served as Head Resident Assistant for Alvernia Residence Life. He was President of Delta Epsilon Sigma, the Risk Management Association, and the Political Science Association, in addition to being a member of Delta Mu Delta. He graduated magna cum laude and was a member of the Alvernia University Men’s Varsity Soccer Team.
