Ethan is an attorney in Obermayer’s Litigation Department, where he focuses his practice on commercial and construction litigation, environmental matters, insurance, professional liability, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). He represents a diverse range of clients, including financial institutions, nonprofit organizations, real estate developers, investors, and individuals.
Ethan helps clients navigate legal disputes from initial assessment through resolution. He develops tailored strategies to assess legal risks, protect clients’ interests, and achieve favorable outcomes through negotiation or litigation. He strives to provide clarity and practical solutions that help clients navigate uncertainty with confidence.
Outside the office, Ethan enjoys exploring Philadelphia with his fiancée, Gretchen, and his dog, Bubba. A passionate Philadelphia sports fan, he also enjoys attending Eagles, Phillies, and 76ers games with friends and family.
Ethan has experience in drafting legal motions, conducting legal research on complex medical malpractice liability issues, preparing discovery, summarizing medical records and deposition transcripts, and supporting trial and deposition practice. He has served as second defense chair in a federal trial in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, helping secure a favorable jury outcome for his client. He also served as second defense chair in a complex medical malpractice case in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, helping obtain a complete defense verdict.
In law school, Ethan earned recognition as a Law & Public Policy Scholar and served as a member of Temple Law Democrats.
As an undergraduate, Ethan graduated cum laude and was inducted into the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity, where he served as Service & Philanthropy Chair.
