Ed is a career civil attorney. He has defended clients at arbitration, jury trial, and bench trial. Ed focuses his practice on health care malpractice defense and has successfully defended hundreds of complex medical malpractice cases through all phases of litigation.
Ed’s fund of knowledge in the basic medical sciences, which he acquired through undergraduate study and years of focused practice, enables him to strategically develop medical evidence and present it effectively to juries in ways most conventional lawyers are unable to do. Ed has also lectured on medical malpractice issues.
Ed lives in Bucks County and in his free time enjoys outdoor sports and spending time with his family. He also volunteers his time to Wills for Heroes, which provides basic estate planning documents to first responders and military veterans in Pennsylvania.
Ed served as a judicial law clerk in the Delaware County Court of Common pleas for nearly two years and completed an externship with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel before entering private practice. He began his career at a well know Philadelphia medical malpractice defense firm where he spent over a decade gaining invaluable experience as a litigator and learning from top attorneys in the field. Before joining Obermayer, Ed practiced at an established Bucks County law firm.
