Adam is a member of Obermayer’s Litigation Department. He handles drafting motions for preliminary injunctions, motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, discovery demands, briefs, including pre-trial, post-trial and appellate.
Adam enjoys looking at the “big picture” in order to creatively solve a client’s problem, even if it doesn’t involve litigation. He is licensed to practice law in three states, and has successfully litigated for many businesses, from “mom and pop” sized businesses to Fortune 500 companies.
Adam enjoys time with his family exploring Philadelphia while hiking, biking, or skiing. He also loves wine, travel, and local history. He has recently discovered that he enjoys gardening.
Prior to joining Obermayer, Adam was an attorney at a Philadelphia law firm where he assisted clients in medical malpractice and civil rights litigation matters for healthcare companies including cases at the state and federal level and appellate matters at the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. He also previously worked at a New York Law firm where he handled diversified complex commercial litigation, real estate litigation, intellectual property, corporate litigation and employment litigation.
Adam served as a law clerk for Hon. William Macauley at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Office of Administrative Judges in New York.
Adam currently conducts interviews for prospective students at Cornell University, his alma mater. He is an active member of the Cornell University Gay and Lesbian Alumni association and recently participated in an alumni career panel. Additionally, Adam is a member of the GLBT Bar Association.
