Legal Assistant – Labor and Employment – New York Office

Obermayer’s New York office has an immediate opening for an experienced legal assistant for labor and employment attorneys.  Candidate must be well-organized, highly motivated, and technologically adept.  Duties will include file opening, scheduling, e-filing (CT & NY state & federal), managing internal files, expense reports, travel arrangements, time entry, proofreading, assisting with marketing efforts etc.  Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Power Point and preparation of TOC’s and TOA’s.  Prior experience with document management software is necessary and experience with Net Documents, Aderant, employment law and/or insurance defense is a plus.  Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional demeanor. 

This full-time opportunity offers an excellent benefit package. Salary will vary greatly depending on experience, but the anticipated range for this position is $65,000-$85,000. Please send resume and salary requirements to recruiting@obermayer.com.
