Obermayer’s Philadelphia office seeks a full-time Legal Assistant for its growing Business & Finance Department. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ law firm experience and be willing to work in-office full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys
- Prepare legal documents and correspondence; type and edit documents
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
- Maintain and organize client files and records
- Handle confidential information with discretion
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role
- Willing to work in-office full-time
- Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and document preparation
- Strong IT skills and ability to troubleshoot efficiently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word and Outlook
- Ability to type and prepare documents from dictation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to take initiative and manage busy schedules of several attorneys
- Self-motivated
