Applications Analyst/Trainer

A full service law firm headquartered in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an Applications Analyst/Trainer to join our team. This position will have primary responsibility for new hire training and applications support for Microsoft Word/Office, Windows 10 and a variety of legal software applications including the document management system. This position requires expert proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Windows 10 and other legal software. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to work effectively with all staffing levels. Excellent opportunity for growth. Reports to the Chief Technology Officer.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide technical assistance and support for requests related to computer systems, software and applications
  • Ability to assist with revising documents – strong legal word processing skills
  • Assist with preparing end user training materials
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Assist with end user training and onboarding
  • Ability to conduct in-person and/or remote training sessions
  • Provide desk-side coaching and best-practices advice
  • Assist with technical support requests via help desk ticketing system
  • Other IT responsibilities and projects as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2-4 years of related work experience, law firm experience preferred
  • Energetic team player with exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong motivational and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with technical and non-technical staff
  • Willing to travel to other offices as needed
  • Must have ability to multitask, prioritize and act calm under pressure
