Obermayer Partner Maria Panichelli Presenting “Critical Concepts in Federal Subcontracting”
Obermayer Chair of the Government Contracting Department, Maria Panichelli, in partnership with the University of Hartford will be presenting a webinar titled, “Critical Concepts in Federal Subcontracting” on September 13, 2019. Join Maria as she explains the essential issues that prime contractors and subcontractors must keep in mind when negotiating and drafting subcontracts for use on federal projects. She will discuss FAR flow-downs and other critical provisions and explain how to think about disputes and payment clauses. Pass through claims and claims between prime and subcontractors will also be discussed. Primes, learn how to avoid a two-front battle between the owner and your subcontractors; and subs, avoid getting lost among confusing and conflicting contract clauses.
