Mitchell Cohen Presenting “Renewable Energy: A Critical Element in a Real Estate Developer’s Strategic Plan” at The Union League of Philadelphia

September 26, 2019

Real Estate and Solar Energy Development Attorney Mitchell Cohen will be speaking at The Union League of Philadelphia on Thursday, September 26, 2019. The presentation is titled “Renewable Energy: A Critical Element in a Real Estate Developer’s Strategic Plan” and is part of the monthly Union League Real Estate Club of Philadelphia Meeting/Luncheon. It will focus on the importance of incorporating renewable energy into all parts of a real estate developer’s development, energy, construction, financing and marketing plans. With the country’s (and the world’s) increasing focus on our carbon footprint, fossil fuels, climate change and renewable energy sources, all real estate developers need to “develop” a clean and green energy plan as a foundation element of their business.

Mitchell concentrates his practice in mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate and solar energy development. He considers himself to be, before all else, a problem solver and strategic planner with his clients. Mitchell served as General Counsel to the New Jersey Renewable Energy Commission. He worked closely with Governor Chris Christie and the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities in forming a solar renewable credit program that brought thousands of solar energy-related jobs and millions of dollars in revenues to the state.
