Maria Panichelli to Present “Asserting Bid Protests: A Contractor’s Guide for Getting the Contracts You Deserve”

Maria Panichelli, Chair of the Government Contracting Department, will present a Govology webinar, titled “Asserting Bid Protests: A Contractor’s Guide for Getting the Contracts You Deserve” on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. In this panel Maria Panichelli will provide a tutorial on the ins and outs of asserting bid protests. She will explain the differences between pre- and post-award bid protests, and the general rules for debriefings and deadlines as well as the technical aspects of bid protest procedure. Maria will also discuss the most common mistakes protestors make — and how to avoid them. 

Maria is the chair of Obermayer’s Government Contracting department. Her practice focuses on all aspects of federal government procurement law, including bid protests, Contract Disputes Act (CDA) claims and litigation, statutory and regulatory compliance counseling, and small business procurement. She represents a variety of government contractors including construction contractors, information technology and information system contractors, advisory and assistant service contractors, security contractors, dredging contractors, environmental remediation contractors, and suppliers.
