Government Contracting Partner Maria Panichelli to Present at Iowa State University Center for Industrial Research and Service
Government Contracting partner Maria Panichelli will be co-hosting and presenting at a day-long event titled “Empowering Contractors: Partnering, Teaming, JV, Proposal Prep, and Post-Award Strategies” at Iowa State University Center for Industrial Research and Service (CIRAS). This event will take place on Monday, May 6, from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. at the Park Lodge at Terry Trueblood Area in Iowa City, Iowa. Maria will be joined by Tan V. Wilson, an entrepreneur and project management professional.
Attendees will learn how to utilize teaming, joint ventures, and mentor-protégé programs to attain government contracts. They will also learn about debriefs, protests, and how to prepare for unexpected bumps in the road. Interested parties can register for this event here.
Maria is the Chair of Obermayer’s Government Contracting department. She focuses her practice exclusively on federal government contracting and procurement, which includes pre- and post-award bid protests, contract interpretation and performance counseling, the preparation of Requests for Equitable Adjustment and Contract Disputes Act (CDA) claim litigation, statutory and regulatory compliance counseling, resolution of subcontractor disputes (including the negotiation of liquidating agreements, and the use of pass-through claims and Miller Act bond claims), contract terminations, and all aspects of small business procurement.
