Services provided by the department include: Negotiation of out-of-court workouts; debt counseling to business entities corporations, partnerships, proprietorships and individuals contemplating bankruptcy; representing unsecured creditors' committees interests in Chapter 11 cases; general representation of trustees appointed under Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code; and representation of trustees as special litigation counsel.
