Because of the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our lawyers, we are better able to understand the needs and objectives of our clients.

Obermayer’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee is charged with promoting and cultivating a more diverse and inclusive workplace.  The Committee includes attorneys from across the firm’s departments, members of the hiring committee, and members of the senior management team. The Committee’s focus is to develop and implement firm-wide initiatives to attract, retain, and advance the careers of our talented diverse lawyers. The Committee works to ensure that our attorneys have the opportunity, training, and mentorship to thrive.

While many of our initiatives center on promoting a diverse workforce, Obermayer also recognizes and appreciates our obligation to promote diversity and inclusion efforts outside of the firm. We aim to serve and benefit our local communities and civic organizations through our various sponsorships, association with affinity groups, and commitment to the use of diverse vendors.
