Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – February 25, 2013 - Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP continues to grow with the addition of Paige Macdonald-Matthes, who joined the firm on February 25, 2013. This is the second addition for Obermayer so far in 2013. Last month, former Deputy General Counsel of the Philadelphia Housing Authority Michael Eichert also joined the firm as a partner.

Macdonald-Matthes is partner in Obermayer’s Litigation Department and resides in the firm’s Harrisburg office. “The addition of Paige to our Harrisburg office is part of our strategic plan to strengthen our presence in Pennsylvania,” stated firm managing partner Robert I Whitelaw.

Macdonald-Matthes will continue to practice in the areas of commercial litigation, business and real estate-related litigation and complex domestic law matters including Hague child abduction cases. “I was drawn to Obermayer because of its outstanding reputation and am pleased to become a part of their team. This firm offers a perfect opportunity for me to continue to build and expand my commercial litigation practice,” explains Macdonald-Matthes.

Macdonald-Matthes was named one of Pennsylvania's 50 Best Women In Business by The Business Journals of Pennsylvania and the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. She has been recognized as one of Central Pennsylvania's Forty Under Forty by the Central Penn Business Journal. She is also active in the Central Pennsylvania community, serving as a former member of the Leadership Council for the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the MS Society, an Alumni Admissions Representative for Lafayette College and is president-elect for Trinity High School Athletic Association.
