PHILADELPHIA – December 20, 2010–Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Nina B. Stryker has been elected Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Section of Probate and Trust Law.  Stryker, who currently serves as the Chair-Elect of the Probate Section, was named at the Section’s annual meeting on Thursday, December 9th.  Her one-year term begins January 1, 2011.

The Probate Section assists members of the Philadelphia Bar Association in the fields of probate, trusts and personal planning by providing professional education and materials on both substantive and procedural aspects of the law.  They inform the public with respect to matters affecting these fields, plus study and suggest improvements in these fields and cooperate with judicial, legislative and administrative bodies.  As Chair, Stryker’s duties will include presiding at all meetings of the Section and of the Executive Committee; appointing the chairs and members of all Committees of the Section who are to hold office during this term, and plan and supervise the Section’s program.

Stryker is Chair of Obermayer’s Trusts & Estates Department. Her practice is devoted exclusively to estate and trust law, with an emphasis on estate related litigation.  She has considerable experience in all phases of estate and trust administration.
