Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP attorney Karen Sanchez was recognized by the First Judicial District and was awarded to the 2013 Pro Bono Roll of Honor. The Pro Bono Roll of Honor recognizes attorneys who have provided pro bono services to litigants in the Philadelphia Courts in 2013. Sanchez represents children as a Child Advocate through the Support Center for Child Advocates.The Roll of Honor is chosen by the Pro Bono Committee which includes members of the bench, bar and pro bono service providers.

Sanchez concentrates her practice in financing, creditors’ rights, lender liability, real estate development and corporate matters. She represents financial institutions and borrowers in complex front-end commercial transactions in both real estate and asset-based lending, as well as restructuring and workout. Sanchez is a Hearing Committee Member for The Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, and was selected as a “2013 Lawyer on the Fast Track” by the Legal Intelligencer which recognizes future leaders of the Commonwealth’s legal community. She was also named a “Pennsylvania Rising Stars” in 2013 and 2007, a recognition given to the top-up-and-coming lawyers in the Commonwealth.
