Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP attorney Karen Sanchez was elected as a board member of Counseling or Referral Assistance (CORA) – a nonprofit counseling agency to help children and families overcome adversities in their school, home and neighborhood. As a board member, Sanchez will assist in steering and upholding the organization’s mission, to provide counseling to families and children or assist them in finding additional resources, should the organization not have the service they need.
Sanchez concentrates her practice in financing, creditors’ rights, lender liability, real estate development and corporate matters. She represents financial institutions and borrowers in complex front-end commercial transactions in both real estate and asset-based lending, as well as restructuring and workout. Sanchez is a Hearing Committee Member for The Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, and was selected as a “2013 Lawyer on the Fast Track” by the Legal Intelligencer which recognizes future leaders of the Commonwealth’s legal community. She was also named a “Pennsylvania Rising Stars” in 2013 and 2007, a recognition given to the top up-and-coming lawyers in the Commonwealth.
