Obermayer Rebmann Maxwell & Hippel LLP is pleased to announce that Anastasius (Tassos) Efstratiades was honored by the Cyprus Society of Greater Philadelphia “Makarios III” at their annual banquet on Saturday, November 20, 2010 for his work in the Greek community. The event was held at the Adelphia Restaurant in Deptford, New Jersey.
Mr. Efstratiades is a partner and co-chairman of the firm’s Business and Finance Department. He has comprehensive experience in banking, general corporate matters, public finance, real estate development, construction law and international trade. Mr. Efstratiades was born in Athens, Greece. He received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from Villanova University, Villanova, PA. Mr. Efstratiades is President of the Federation of Hellenic American Organizations of New Jersey. He has also served as President of the Greek American Chamber of Commerce and President of the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Hellenic Educational progressive Association. Mr. Efstratiades is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, District of Columbia, Philadelphia, and Camden County Bar Associations. Mr. Efstratiades has authored several articles in various legal periodicals, and is listed in Who's Who in America, Who’s Who in the World and Who’s Who in American Law.
