Rigel Farr focuses her practice on business and commercial litigation, representing corporate and institutional clients in a wide variety of matters, including breaches of contract, professional malpractice, "business divorces," real property disputes, public finance, and commercial collection matters. Ms. Farr has represented clients in state and federal courts.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Farr was a law clerk for the Department of Justice in Washington, D.C., in the Land Acquisition Section of the Environmental and Natural Resources Division, where she worked on ongoing federal eminent domain and condemnation cases across the United States.
Recognized by her peers for her work, Ms. Farr was named to the list of “Pennsylvania Rising Stars” in 2016 and 2017 by Super Lawyers, a publication of Thomson Reuters which recognizes only 2.5% of attorneys.
Ms. Farr is a member of the Legal Intelligencer’s Young Lawyer Editorial Board and a member of the Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia.
While in law school, Ms. Farr served as managing editor for the Review of Litigation. She received the Pete Geren Challenge Grant Scholarship in Law and was a recipient of the Texas Law Fellowship. She was also a Chancellor’s Scholar and a member of the Thurgood Marshall Legal Society.
