Emily C. Friedman is a member of the Trusts & Estates and Bankruptcy Departments.
In her trusts & estates practice, she assists clients in estate planning and estate and trust administration.
In her bankruptcy practice, she participates in the representation of businesses in need of restructuring, reorganization, and liquidation. Representations include Chapter 11 debtors-in-possession, Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 trustees, creditors’ committees, disbursing agents, unsecured creditors, secured creditors, and plaintiffs and defendants in avoidance actions.
While in law school, Ms. Friedman served as a legal intern for the Delaware River Basin Commission. She was an associate editor of the Washington University Journal of Law and Policy, and has a note forthcoming in that publication.
Before law school, Ms. Friedman worked in the curatorial departments of several museums, including The Barnes Foundation and Portland Museum of Art in Maine.
