Charles C. Coyne practices in the area of business and finance. He has also participated in a number of major liquidation and bankruptcy proceedings, including Penn Central, Alan Wood Steel, Hubler Rental, and Reliance Insurance, has served as a member of the Panel of U.S. Bankruptcy Trustees and is a Referee for the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania in insurance company liquidation proceedings.

Mr. Coyne has been politically active for a number of years, has served as a member of the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission, is a member of the Alumni Leadership Council of the University of Pennsylvania and has represented and advised a number of local, state and federal government and business leaders, including his brother, former Congressman James K. Coyne, who also served as Director of the White House office of Private Sector Initiatives, and his brother Thomas H. Coyne, the Chief Executive Officer of the Coyne Chemical Co., Inc. and past Chairman of the National Association of Chemical Distributors.

Mr. Coyne has been active in the area of international relations. He is a fellow of the Center for International Legal Studies in Salzburg, Austria, has conducted a seminar “American Entrepreneurship, The Lawyer’s Role; The Function of the Attorney-at-law in the US Economy” at the University of Szczecin in Poland, and has spoken at other international conferences and seminars.

In 2009 he presented a paper The Lawyer's Role in the Changing International Ethical Climate at the CILS International Business Law Summit in Egypt, and in 2010 he presented a series of lectures The Promulgation and Enforcement of Legal Ethics; the U.S. Model to the Master of European Law Joint Degree program of the University of Szczecin, University of Montpellier, University Autonoma of Barcelona and the University of Milan.

Mr. Coyne is a subject of autobiographical record in Who's Who in America and Who's Who in American Law and is rated "A" (Most Highly Qualified) "V" (Adheres to the highest ethical-standards of the profession) by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.
